The summer of 2022 is coming mercifully to an end, and so with it comes the end of the Build-Outs of Coffee, our annual series featuring new and revamped cafes from around the globe. It’s been a hot one this summer, scorching even, but perhaps the other thing higher in Fahrenheit (or Celsius if that’s your thing) has been this year’s roster of builds. We’ve seen so many breathtaking, show-stopping cafes across multiple continents that we’re frankly a little hot under the collar.

The 2022 Build-Outs of Coffee is presented by La Marzocco, Dona, and Mill City Roasters. Build-Outs of Coffee 2022 is sponsored by Pacific Barista Series, Acaia, and Marco Beverage Systems.

Sure the sun is setting on the summer, but we’ve still got a sliver of time left to squeeze the last ounce of excitement from the ever-growing specialty coffee scene. And we want to hear from you, you new cafe owners, you coffee shop renovators, you new roasters and fourth and fifth and sixth location expanders.

It’s last call. So if you’ve opened or given a face lift to a coffee shop or roastery any time in 2022 or with an expected completion date sometime this calendar year, we want to hear from you.

We’re closing the chapter on this year’s Build-Outs of Coffee promptly on September 1st, so if you want your coffee project to be considered, follow the link above ASAP.
